英語教育に携わって40年以上。英語教育に使えるかも、などと気軽なきっかけで始めた英語落語に浸かって気づけば10余年。日本人だけでなく海外の観客にも落語を届けることを大きな喜びとしています。
落語歴は13年 古典落語を桂文雀師匠、金原亭龍馬師匠、金原亭小駒師匠などにご指導を賜り、現在持ちネタ20席、英語落語も歴13年、こちらは鹿鳴家英楽さんにご指導いただき持ちネタ27席となりました。
2020年に英語落語協会を立ち上げ、現在は英語落語協会主催の英語落語会以外に、学校、企業からのご依頼を受け、英語落語と玉すだれを演じています。海外では今まで the U.S.A. （Phoenix, NY, West Coast, Georgia), the U.K.（London, Manchester, Edinburgh）, the Philippines (Manila, Davao), Finland, Korea, and Denmark.などで公演。

"Rakugo in English? Can audiences really get it?" Despite the skepticism, she became a Rakugo performer captivated by the joy of making international audiences laugh. She trained in classical Japanese Rakugo under Kokontei Kokoma and mastered English Rakugo under Kanariya Eiraku. Her repertoire includes 20 traditional Japanese Rakugo pieces and 27 in English.
As a director of the English Rakugo Association, she organizes and performs in Rakugo events both in Japan and internationally. Since 2015, she has performed not only across Japan but also in the U.S.A. （Phoenix, NY, West Coast, Georgia), the U.K.（London, Manchester, Edinburgh）, the Philippines (Manila, Davao), Finland, Korea, and Denmark.
In addition to her performances, she is also an experienced English language lecturer.
